What a very busy term we have all had and now we are only 2 weeks away from our 30th Anniversary show "30 Years of Sparkle" The Academy staff and pupils are very excited. We have waited a long time to get back up on stage.

We are thrilled for all our hard-working pupils and teachers to receive some amazing exam results. We held 5 days of ISTD ballet, tap modern and jazz exams, all pupils passing with either a Merit or Distinction.

A big warm welcome to all our new families and pupils that have recently joined the school, it’s lovely to have you.

We have hit the ground running in the Academy. After a lovely restful Christmas, we are working hard for a bumper year. It is the 30th Anniversary of the Fleur Elizabeth Academy and so big plans are in progress for a reunion party, a huge celebratory show and as always lots of ISTD exams

What a full-on 6 weeks we have had prepping for ISTD exams and of course Christmas fun week!

Christmas week at dance class is always a time to sing, dance, eat chocolate and do lots of fun choreography, games and secret Santa. We also worked hard preparing for Jazz exams on the 12th December with some amazing results ranging from 75 to 99%, all the hard work really paid off. We had some very happy pupils.

At last its half term! What a busy 7 weeks we have had, but a very very productive one. Many classes are now working towards exams. We have welcomed lots of new pupils. We did an amazing mini production of Matilda, which was brilliant! thank you to Miss Joanna and all the Musical Theatre pupils for really stepping up and giving us all a wonderful afternoon of live performance.

It has been so wonderful to see all our Academy families back to class the last 2 weeks. Pupils have moved up due to starting school or taking exams so the class dynamics are different and very refreshing. We said goodbye to eight gorgeous leavers in the Summer. The class of 2021 had not had the end they had imagined but we still celebrated.

The Academy summer schools are always the most wonderful few days of friendship and fun! This year our summer programme is even bigger and better with 6 days of great tasters, wellness, dance, singing, crafts and fitness.

We are well in the swing now as we enter the last 7 weeks of this academic year.

Exam work is looking brilliant and we are keeping our fingers crossed that all 5 days of exams go ahead live and face to face!

Wow...................we are so pleased to be back. The FEAD is once again buzzing and full of life. Our pupils are happy, confident and all back in the swing. Classes are full of smiles and chatter, just as we like it. The staff are also loving life back with the children from the Dinkies at 18 months all the way up to our seniors at 18 years!

We are back on Monday 12th April and we are super excited and possibly a little nervous at starting face to face classes once again.

All being well, face to face classes can resume week beginning the 12th April.

A third lockdown wasn’t going to stop us from dancing.
