It’s Showtime

What a very busy term we have all had and this weekend is our 30th Anniversary show "30 Years of Sparkle"

The Academy staff and pupils are very excited. We have waited a long time to get back up on stage.

We also had a professional photo shoot where lots of pupils came and helped out. We now have some beautiful images for our marketing and website.

Despite being full-on with show choreography and planning we have as always welcomed plenty of new pupils to the school. It’s lovely to have new blood and start the dance journey with new families.

We all enjoyed some very special Mother’s Day joining in classes in March and all the Mums were thrilled to receive their beautiful flowers too.

Our fundraising this year has also been great. Odd sock week was hugely successful raising £400 for Downright Special, a local charity supporting families with children with Downs Syndrome.

A theatre trip to see Diversity was enjoyed by 25 pupils and staff, a great inspiration to us all and much fun going with their dance family!

But the most special event was our 30th Anniversary Reunion. What a great and quite emotional night celebrating with pupils past and present and raising a glass to the success and longevity of Miss Fleur and the Academy. Roll on the next 30!

Watch this space for photos and videos of our 30th Anniversary show very soon. x
