Reflecting on a Great 30th Year!

What a year we have had so far. Celebrating the 30th Anniversary of the Academy with a wonderful party, welcoming pupils and families past and present. It was a truly fabulous evening, very emotional, and a great way to finish the academic year. Along with our wonderful show "30 Years of Sparkle," we couldn't have asked for a better celebration.

The hard work and developments continue as we head into a new academic year. We have appointed a new Vice Principal, Miss Jess, who has taken on the role this September and has already made her mark in developing our school’s core values, which we are all pleased with.

We continue to develop and strive for better standards of training and opportunities for our pupils. Last weekend saw 16 of the upper school pupils attend Can You Dance Super Convention in Liverpool where they performed on the main stage and took part in a variety of masterclasses. A great time was enjoyed by teachers staff and parents.

Our next big project involves 6 days of ISTD exams for many of the Academy pupils, so work continues in class week by week in preparation for these. Parents are also invited in to watch classes week beginning 7th November to see all our fabulous classes in progress!

But as Christmas looms around the corner, we have lots of lovely festive events organised, including an Academy theatre trip to see The Royal Ballets production of The Nutcracker and She Productions’ special Christmas musical "The Pirates of Christmas Island".
